Partnership Structure

Partnership structure and extended network

From the start, the project has been based on two main elements which are reflected in the composition of the partnership:

  • first, the involvement of actors and stakeholders from the different levels of the VET system (e.g. professionals from VET providers, supervisors from the national and/or regional level, educational authorities, external stakeholders)

  • secondly, the exchange of experience among different countries and systems

Thus the partnership has been set up as a network comprising all kinds of actors and stakeholders: VET providers, research institutions, public authorities, social partners and enterprises. The participating institutions are organised both on the national and the transnational level.

National networks

National networks are organised by a Co-ordinating Partner (CP). They consist of VET providers (Operative Partners) as well as of institutions from the system level (decision makers from educational authorities, social partners) and other stakeholders (Supporting Institutions, not funded by Leonardo da Vinci). Thus a bottom-up-approach as well as the implementation of project results at national level is ensured. The Operative Partners will test the Peer Review procedure in a pilot phase.

Transnational network

At the European level, the transnational network comprises all national networks. The Co-ordinating Partners form a project steering group which promotes and co-ordinates

• research activities and the transnational exchange of experience,

• the development of the products of the project,

• the implementation of the pilot phase,

• the dissemination activities, and

• the development of an implementation/transfer strategy.

External evaluation is carried out by an Evaluating Partner.

Participating countries are Austria, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands Portugal, Romania, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

The multi-actor partnership of 22 partners (PM, CP, OP, and EP) is complemented by supporting institutions who are included as extended network partners (ENP). Their function is to advise the project and to assist in the dissemination and transfer of the results.

During the course of the project, the network will be extended to encompass additional persons, institutions and countries who are interested in Peer Review. Please contact us for more information.
